I like Weathernation, its Roku channel has been a great thing to have. The app is good, it gives me the information I need without any excess that I really dont. But there is some room for improvement. What I think needs changing: -The User Interface feels dated, like 4 years ago. It works but it doesnt feel like a cutting edge provider is giving me weather. Which is weird bc the Roku app and the live streams are very polished. I would try to utilize space and transparencies better in the app, consolidating some options maybe to make fewer tabs. -Make photos more integral. Maybe have an option to open on the latest weather pics or integrate them into the background as a "live snap shot" of whats going on. -Give power users the option to more or less look at a data sheet. Those who really want to know the tiny details. This bit is not important to me but I feel it might be to others. -Weathernation would do well to better utilize social media and integrate that into a "social tab". A tab where the official FB, twitter, Instagram accounts of weathernation and its meteorologist could be compiled into one stream. -add pollen counts and allergy forcasts. I plan to keep using this app as I like the network and the overall service. I really hope they work to really polish this app and give people a real reason to switch from The Weather Channel and similar apps.

I was told the video stream would be fixed in a matter of days and yet many weeks later it still does not work. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. It seems to me they just dont care about this product. The worst weather app I have ever purchased in my opinion

Video stream works fine for me. To all those sprint users, SWITCH to Verizon. On demand weather everywhere!

Fix it please...

I downloaded this app as a weather junkie. We were under a winter storm warning and I wanted to see what everyone was predicting. All the apps I have picked up the alerts from the NWS except this one. We are expecting 12+ inches and this app still just says snow showers. What a disappointment! Dont download this one!

I was really hoping for something to replace weather Channel. Every time I turn on weather channel TV they seem to be showing everything except weather. I cant wait to Comcast its as smart as DirecTV and dump weather Channel. That said, this app is terrible. It only appear sideways on your iPad. And cuts off the first few letters of every line. Hopefully they can hire some 13-year-old kid and improve the app.

Search feature to add new cities needs some improvement but WAY better than TWC. I deleted their app...

This is a refreshing app, but I agree it needs much improvement. Especially the streaming capability. I cant view the live stream for more than 5 seconds and I have a great wireless internet connection. Awesome addition to the Roku. If I had to review that alone this would have 5 stars. Look forward to an iOS update soon!

This is the best weather app I have ever out on my phone and I had done many and paid for a few. This one had no ads and tells you everything you need to know. Get this for weather and get rid of the rest. The best weather app ever!!!

I used to love this app but so many times the weather never updates. I am going back to weather channel that has a working app.

Used to have great radar but since the update the radar is gone, just a map.

This shows that its raining here but theres not a cloud in the sky. Why change this app? Go back to the old one its easier read and follow.

I got this app because I was tired of TWC and their asinine storm naming of cold fronts. I was also very displeased with the look of their new app. Guess what?! YOUR app now looks exactly like TWC. Thats my first complaint. My other? The radar no longer works. Not to mention it being aaaaaaalll the way on the bottom. Why doesnt the time lapse work? If youre going to be just like TWC, I might as well give up on you guys too. Im so frustrated when apps get updated and ruin more than they fix

New version for the iOS8 update is horrible. Completely user unfriendly.

Top down design with sliding shelfs like hourly and extended make provide all info I need. Maps work great, just have to expand the box and goes full screen and contains multiple layers! Video and live stream work amazing! And great photo and video share features. Love this App, well done WeatherNation!

This app is great. $3 for no ads, you cant beat that. Unfortunately, the app crashes often, especially during swipes between locations, full screen maps, forecasts. In addition the app freezes on startup.

The App takes way to long to refresh. Weather Channel App is much better and faster.

I would have removed all stars, but you must give at least one which is not deserved here, this app is now just terrible. Their IT team has no clue and should have been fired a long time ago, you take input from customers and clients to make your product better, not in this case. Their live streaming service works like its stuck in the 1990s, audio and video is consistantly mismatched and losing connection,especially on their Roku channel as well. Kalturra streaming service, seriously? Its really too bad, they had such great potential to take over now that Weather Channel is reality shows. Obviously a total lack of quality control and misdirection. I also like how their IT dept reviews their own terrible creation.
